The invitation

Not an accountancy day

We are bringing together 50 founders, operators and decision-makers for a day of honest conversation about what it really looks like to run a hospitality business right now.

Numbers will feature, because labour, margins and cashflow are where the pressure shows first. But this is about hospitality as a whole: coming together as an industry, sharing what is working, and finding new ways to navigate the headwinds ahead.

It is a small room on purpose. Small enough that everyone talks, and senior enough that what gets said is useful on Monday morning. I hope you can join us.

The day

How it runs

Full timings and the panel line-up will be shared closer to the day.

  1. 10:00

    Doors, coffee and pastries

Arrive, meet the room and settle in before the first session.

  2. Morning

    Straight-talking panels

Operators, partners and the WS team on labour, margins and cashflow, and what is actually moving them.

  3. Midday

    Unfiltered operator insight

People running sites today, saying what they would tell a friend rather than a conference. Time built in to compare notes with peers facing the same decisions.

  4. Lunch

    A long, family-style lunch

With drinks to finish. This is where most of the best conversations happen.

  5. 16:00

    Close

Leave with ideas you can use, and the contact details of people who have already solved the problem you are facing.

Who is in the room

Independent operators and group founders, from a first site to a growing estate.
